The Evil one bids you greetings on this warm evening of the 23rd of June.
I hate these messages, I do.... buuut....
Ok, when a GM, for whatever game, asks... requests you to make a PC for a purpose, please wait. Wait for that GM to line a scene up for that character. This avoids interesting conversations at 8:32 PM about Garfield, JAWS and the Shining and needing a bigger boat. More to the point it means that hours of work are not tossed down into the dark trash heap of gaming.
We are adults here and no ones feelings will get hurt if you need to PM the player and just drop them a line. "Hey, I appreciate the interest but this character is spoken for, see GM X. " Then go on to offer to create an unattached character, if you choose. This keeps things smooth and easy and means that nothing gets retconned.
That said, from this point on, if you see a scene that does not have something like this:
XX scene [Att: Character X], ZL Scene [Open] please ask the opening player before popping in. Only takes a few minutes but saves so much.
Thanks in advance.
